Halo 3 Drives Gilbert Arenas To The Dark Side
- 3 Comment
Not only are teenagers addicted to Halo 3, but super star NBA players are as well. Gilbert Arenas has been linked to sponsoring Halo 3 tournament teams, and is now caught up in a whirlwind conspiracy theory and stat doping scandal.
GameSpot is reporting that the Washington Widards guard has been accused of padding his stats on his gamertag on Xbox Live. And whats worse is that Arenas has confirmed the story. Stating that he and a friend used two dummy accounts in unranked matches to swap wins to inflate their gamertags.
I'm not sure which side of the coin I fall on here. On one hand I dislike people that do not earn the reputation and ranks through honest play and skill. But on the other hand, it was in unranked play and realistically who does it harm?
Bungie to my knowledge has not released any statements on the developing story, but there is a madhouse of speculation running rampant on the Bungie forums.
What do you think?

LOL! I love Halo 3 and can play it 4 hours straight but ranking isn’t THAT important to me. Yes – I consider myself VERY good
Add me if you have Live: DearUncle
Take care,
