Build A Dynamic Blog Network

In my ever consuming desire to constantly promote my blogs, I’m always delving the murky depths of the internet to find new and useful network sites on which to advertise or network with other bloggers. Lately I’ve found a few that have been mediocre at best. With the advent of web 2.0 it seems all the good sites have gone by the way side – take a look at the downfall of Digg.com for example.

However there are days in which i’m thankfully surprised and genuinely pleased with the results that I get from a new website. One such website that i’ve stumbled across when doing a search was Blogoria.com. The simple clean layout was a refreshing breeze of style meeting function, not to mention it has a pretty robust user interface. It also has a great load time. It features a fairly specific channels listing in which to search for blogs, or you can manually search through a search bar.

One of the best ways to market and gain traffic to your blog is to network with other bloggers. The best source for networking with other bloggers from my own experience is to hang out in a forum for a week or so just reading over the posts to find out which users are genuine and actually paying attention to what they are doing. Send a note to the privately and begin a dialog with them – this shouldn’t be the “Hey add my site to your blogroll” email. If you are not willing to put in the effort building a relationship with other bloggers you are wasting your time.

So get out there – promote yourself, make friends, and be genuinely interested in nurturing those relationships and you too can be a successful blogger.
