Spring Promotions Start Now

Its only the middle of January but I'm already talking about spring? That's right, spring is just a few months away and you should be starting spring promotions right now to get the jump on the season. We all know how retailers start selling christmas items in July, but the same thought process can be applied to online marketing campaigns as well.

Think of it like this, its January, its freakin cold out and you don't want to venture out to the mall. So you take your pajama clad ass down to the family room and fire up the pentium II and surf to your favorite online stores in search of spring items for the home and garden. People are always thinking about the upcoming season, especially if its a warm season and they can get outside.

Right now I'm currently running campaigns for spring yard cleanup tools, which are converting pretty well, around 5% at the moment, and I only expect those to move up as spring draws near. Online marketing and affiliate marketing is about knowing the trends and staying ahead of them, one of the few constants in this realm is nature and the seasons.
