Blogupp Not Down

Came across this little interesting widget today and thought I'd give it a go. It works similar to Blogrush in the fact that it uses your latest story from your RSS feed and showcases it on other sites that have the widget enabled. One of the interesting parts of this widget though is that it requires no account sign up etc. While I'm not sure thats an entirely good thing, I'm going to give it a shot and see if there is any increase in traffic.

If you're interested in the widget, go over to www.blogupp.com and grab it for yourself. It only takes about a minute to install and works on just about any page type, including wordpress etc. The display ratio is 10:9 so for every ten times your page loads the widget your page is being shown on other sites 9 times. Not too bad of a ratio really in the grand scheme of things.

The widget is installed in the side bar to the right at the bottom if you want to look at it in action. If you're already using this widget let me know your success rate on it - I'm going to test it for a few weeks to see if it has a noticeable impact.
