Social Spark Sucks
From the makers of Payperpost comes the next evolution in paid advertising / blogging. Social Spark was supposed to be the next big thing in paid blogging, and tons of bloggers have flocked to the site to sign up and make more money from paid postings. However, lots of people are finding out that Social Spark sucks just about as much as Izeas other offerings.
I went to test out Social Spark since I'm always looking to stay up to date and on top of new happenings in the affiliate and blogging world, and to my non surprise its a big waste of time for the most part. First thing you have to do is install their tracking code onto your blog or website. No big deal really, just another piece of code to load when someone gets to your page. This doesn't bother me that much because its just a way for them to get an idea of how many people go to your site etc. Its nice and simple to install, takes about 5 minutes of your day.
Once that is installed you go back to Social Spark and submit your blog to "Customer Love", aka customer jerk me offs, to see if your blog meets their quality standards. This is where I have some serious issues with Social Spark. I have no idea who they have validating sites, or whether its a computer program doing it, but whoever it is needs to have some serious sense kicked into them. I submitted another blog that I run which is completely ad free, no paid postings, and has great readership, and got rejected.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but as a paid to post website, wouldn't you be seeking out blogs that are ad free and have a great page rank. I've been around the block a few times so I went to check out some of the other sites that were "accepted" into the Social Spark network of sites. And from the looks of it, its the same old blogs and websites that have cornered the market so to speak on paid posting programs. Social Spark is supposed to be about revolution and community, when in reality its just another way for the same group of blogs to make more money jerking there readers around.
