Follow Up – .ME Domains On Sale

A quick follow up to my earlier post on the .ME domains that went on sale today – I have recently doubled checked a few of my orders and due to the massive number of people placing .ME requests this morning some of the registrars were unable to keep up with the demand as as such lost some orders.

I will be investigating this more completely later on in the day as I get information back from various registars. Its to be expected though with a new top level domain name gold rush in place. Everyone is out to snag the best domains they can as fast as they can. I’m sure some people were registering thousands of dollars worth of domain names.
