Exponential Weekend

This past weekend was a great weekend for my affiliate sales. Not sure why it was such a good weekend when the economy is in the toilet and looking like its going to be there for awhile. I don't really care either way I suppose though.

I logged into my affiliate sales page back end on Friday to quickly check my stats before I went out to dinner, and all looked pretty normal. A few sales, but nothing major, maybe $50 in profit that day which is par for me. After a good night out on the town I headed directly to bed to get some shut eye.

When I woke up in the morning I got caught up doing errands and other Saturday morning stuff and so didn't log back into my affiliate page until Sunday afternoon where to my surprise I had done over $3500 in sales in the last two days. I just about fell off my couch. Wtf I thought? Not that I was complaining but I couldn't quite figure out how all of a sudden something would spike that much.

So off I went to check analytics and saw that I had a boat load of referrals from being Stumbled by someone and apparently restumbled by a bunch of other people. For all of you that are trying to get some decent traffic, check out stumbleupon.com and see what your missing.
