Memorial Day Weekend Break

I will be taking the weekend off from posting I think. I’m hoping to get down to the NCAA Lacrosse championships this weekend, and the blog can use a rest. I’ll be back to posting next week like usual. Hopefully while I’m gone this weekend I can meet up with a few people to touch base in person about upcoming big projects for the affiliate markets I’m working on this summer. Right now I’m looking at a good return rate to some traffic I’m sending to a specific affiliate, and I want to scale it up gradually over the next couple weeks, then late June explode with the summer grilling season - HINT HINT - so for all of your affiliate marketers out there that complain there are no untapped niches left - you just need to look harder at the seasons.

Britney at the VMA’s - off topic

So i know this is pretty much completely off topic but thats ok because I can’t not write about it! Who exactly was the person who decided to let Britney perform at the VMA’s - they should definately get the gold medal for most disturbing idea of the century.
Not only was the performance a show stopper it was a visual assualt on the eyes and brain - and not in a good i’m a slave for you type of way. I mean don’t get me wrong, Britney still looks semi-good for having two kids and being on a crack diet for the past 3 years. However she’s not in the greatest shape ever either. Combine that with the hideousness that was her outfit and you’ve got a item off the “I want to be a 42 year old skank hooker” menu.
All visual looks aside, her vocals were completely obliterated and crappy. Not that she really had any good vocals to begin with - although the “Oops i did it again” track has some good porn audio clippings.
So all in all i would have to agree with Timberlake and make MTV play more damn videos. If the videos are of VMA replays which surely they will be for the next 72 hours - I’m not watching anymore - I’ve already lost some eye site due to Britney.
