One of the good things about an economy in turmoil is the ability to hit the mall on any weekend and see rediculous sales left and right. Retailers will try just about anything to get you to pony up that hard earned cash right now.

Case in point, I was at the mall this weekend and saw a store with a huge sign out front that said up to 70% off everything in store. So of course being the good little consumer that I am, I ventured into the store to take a look. Sure enough most things in the store were 30 or 40 percent off, then when you sign up for a credit card you got the extra 30% off items.

What the stores are counting on are you having a credit card in your wallet for six months to a year and everytime you open it up you are reminded to shop at that particular store. This little gimmick works for some people, but if you're smart you can get around it and make out like a bandit.

If you can find a large amount of items in a store that you want, and they are all 40% off, with the ability to go to 70% off when you get the card then sign up for it and buy the items. This will save you a lot of money up front. The key part of this is to mark your calendar for a week later to cancel the card and cut it up. This will alleviate that urge to shop more and ring up credit debt.

I only recommend doing this once a year as it does play with your credit score a little bit from what I've been able to determine. So choose wisely and make sure to cancel the card. Do not get another card you can ring up more debt on!

I'm cruising around the net this morning with a morning cup of coffee and I happened across a YouTube video that I thought was pretty amazing. I've had my iPhone for awhile now and its been put through the paces. Its got dents, divots, and scratches on it from just general wear and tear that any phone gets with regular usage. I know Apple has said that the iPhone can take some bumps and drops, but mine is starting to show its age. This video is definitely something that I will be investing into pretty quickly. Take a peek and see for yourself how well this product works in the invisibleSHIELD video.

This week's seventies image is brought to you courtesy of quite possibly the worst idea for an outfit ever conceived by anyone ever in the history of the time, space, the universe and everything - and thats a lot of stuff.

We start off first with the very dapper gentleman on the left who is wearing the oh so kill me now sesame street yellow terry cloth pants, that have to be riding so high that his man parts are up under his chin causing severe discoloration of his face and neck. That is followed closely by the absurdly rediculously horizontal striped, I want to be Hugh Hefner, smoking jacket for people that can't quite find a date. If that weren't bad enough, his manhood is being labeled as a B, now thats a bad day.

And now onto the best outfit I've ever seen. The coffee cup wielding death knight of the late seventies on the right is prepared for the daily battle with his trusty over garment of love. Striped with bold colors to confuse the enemy, this 3/4, high collared, I think I might be a woman shirt is always prepared for the rigors of life. Not only does this outfit strike fear into the heart of any mortal enemy, it also provides easy access for loved ones.

I couldn't even imagine wearing something like this riding on the subway. Looks like a freakin leprechaun in the bottom left image. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this wear the shortage of oil came from? The amount of man made synthetics in this little outfit would fill out three pages of nasa flight plan fuel requirements.

The best part of this outfit is the foot long zipper in the skin tight trousers, which of course are hiked appropriately up over the belly button. Your lady friend is sure to give you the proper respect you're looking for with this outfit. Either that or she's going to pimp you out on the nearest street corner.

Have you ever wanted to dress like an escaped convict, besides a costume for Halloween? Incase you've had that thought recently I hate to inform you, but you have been living in the wrong decade.

Sadly the 70's provided everyone with a chance to go out everyday as a jailed inmate looking for refuge at a daily job. As you can clearly see here, this inmate has been tagged and collared by the system and prepared for processing.

And take a look at those prices - a freakin steal!

Many of you who may want to copy this style should be forwarned of some of the dangers of this type of apparel. Depending on the material you are making the outfit from you should probably carry a fire exstinguisher with you incase of spontaneous thigh combustion. Certain space aged materials have an alarmingly high tendency to ignite under heavy repeated friction.

Wearers should also be careful not to wear the ever important belt too low on the waist. This particular outfit specifically calls for the belt to be 8 inches above the waist and no lower. With this positioning, some users may find themselves inadvertantly hooked on coat hanger racks and other chest level knobby things.

Recommended accessories to this piece include black out sunglasses, white golf shoes (with no socks), and large amounts of chest hair. Woman should be advised to seek medical clearance before taking man hair pills.

If you're looking to get a traffic boost from Myspace, create your own survey, and add your website or blog link at the bottom of it. Post it to your Myspace bulletin and have people start filling it out and passing it onto their friends. Get a nice little viral spike from surveys on Myspace.

This week's image is again brought to you direct from an old JC Penny catalogue found underneath a lovely basement sofa. In this image we can clearly see the effectiveness of narcotics at work.

While I can get over the palish blue color of the shirts, I cannot forgive the shameful misplacement of striped patterns mixed horribly with floral pattern squares. Even if I was tripping a serious amount of acid I don't think i could enjoy this visual spectical.

And whats with the thrusting hip motion from the guy in the background? He's got to know he's not going to get any from the plastic belt wearing model right.

David Hasselhof they've stolen your shirts!

"A metaphor from seamanship. A berth is, among other goes wherever it is going without much resistance. name, is possessed by the Wilis, or spirits of beautiful

..In the heat of battle, it was easy to forget to fully of despair or mourning. getting out on the wrong side of a bed, they cannot be "

Now is it me or are spammers becoming much more prosaic in their old age? It used to be that we'd get spam concerning the latest enhancement product to the male ego or the next best hair restoration product. But now we get spam poetry?

Not that I'm really complaining mind you, but I wish that spammers would go to an English class and learn exactly how to write prose. Is that so much to ask?
